At the early age of 3,
Bob shone as an entertainer as he took the stage at a family party and
performed a well rehearsed comedy act and had his audience in a hysteria
of laughter. Inevitably, the seed was planted. His first magic set was
given to him by his parents while on vacation in Germany at the age of
4. On the way home, at customs, the agent looked at Bob and asked, "Are
you a magician?" With an oversized top hat on and his bag of tricks
Bob looked up, straight faced and confident, and slowly nodded. Not to
mention, no luggage search! With a background in drama and a love for theatre and film, Bob explored the world of entertainment, engaging in dance, music and acting. All the while, though, he continued to maintain his hobby of magic. With a desire for independence and success Bob took the role of a business man managing and directing a Toronto based finance company. But the desire to make people happy, seeing them smile and laugh, was too strong and Bob knew he needed to pursue his passion. Bob took his gift of working with people and combined it with his love for the art of magic and became a master of performance. Bob’s sense of style and delivery is, to a great extent, different than that of a traditional magic act. He is a street-style magician on a corporate level who is able to orchestrate a magical mental performance which defies all odds, with a classy touch of humor. He can warm up the crowd and warm up the room. What makes him different is his ability to relate to and bond with his audience. He eases the crowd, drawing people together with humor and mystery creating a truly magical experience. Bob’s ability to charm, mesmerize and entertain in a professional yet comfortable fashion has placed him at the top of his class in a new era of magical entertainment with a modern twist. |
